“ OH MY GOODNESS! BEST BBQ I HAVE EVER HAD IN MY LIFE! WHEN I PASS AWAY I WANT TO BE BURIED WITH SWADLEYS BBQ SAUCE!!!!!! Everything was amazing.....literally everything. You will not be disappointed. The meat was so juicy, the sweet beans were incredible, the brisket was immaculate, the peach cobbler with ice cream was fantastic. This is by far my favorite BBQ place I’ve ever been too. My boyfriend really liked it too and he is a picker eater. I RATE THIS PLACE 100 GOLD STARS!!!! ”
“ After one bite of Swadleys brisket.. , I realized I do not know how to cook brisket!! Great atmosphere When you walk in , you can really smell the smokey barbecue... oh man.. And you are in for a treat The manager was very knowledgeable friendly and a great guy! He hopes to be a minister one day We had the sampler platter and everything was delicious! They know how to do a killer smokey barbecue!! We will be back for more!! No wonder they've won so many awards!!!!!! ”
“ Being a traveling salesman for 16 years, frequent traveler, and former restaurant owner I have had more than my share of BBQ, in Oklahoma, Texas and throughout America. Many of the highest rated BBQ spots in Texas. The last 3-4 times I've eaten at Swadleys, I honestly think were the best ribs and super moist & tender pulled pork I've ever eaten. Ribs are meaty, tender and cooked to perfection. Burnt ends are another great choice. I have to eat all three of their BBQ sauces.I really like the two options on sizes on the chicken fried steak which I always order gravy on the side to see what I'm getting. The one here is just the right amount if tender beef with a great crispy batter. Excellent! catfish is always another great option here. Nice, flavorful, crispy and tasty. Sides are all fantastic with two choices of beans, both delicious, crispy fried onion strings and the absolute best fried okra on the planet along with fresh baked home style rolls. Don't miss the salad bar which had all my favorite healthy choices. And of course you finish it off with a twist cone, or two. SO GOOD! ”
“ First time in a long while since actually visiting a Swadley's location. Have mostly gotten it to go lately. Walking in, it's dark, decorated out of a different time....and opens up to a comfy atmosphere. Ordering was quick, food came out in about 5 minutes, and everything was great. Service from Odessa was 5 stars. Kept all drinks filled and made sure everything was to our liking. I'd go back again and again. Food is obviously better when carried out to the table instead of making the drive home, but either way, I've never had any issue at all with good food from this location. Apart from pain from eating a little too much. ”
“ First time eating here in years, I have to say the food was 10/10 for me it is a good thing that I came here to order and take home my lunch meal. The food I ordered which the 2 Rib Dinner with Mashed potatoes & Gravy with Spicy Baked beans my meal was amazing to where I'll be back again to eat more food options. As for their helpful cashier I will say was very nice, professional and doing her job correctly. This place definitely is clean, organized and well taken care of. ”
“ What a neat spot, so glad we found it! Great decor/atmosphere! Food was really good! Being from Memphis we know BBQ, and this did not disappoint! Spacious, although didn't look like it from the outside! Staff was friendly & helpful, orders came out quickly. Waitress kept saying she'd been there since 9am, it was about noon when we arrived, but she kept repeating everything said & was not very knowledgeable or helpful about menu questions. I hope she has better/clearer days ahead! ”
